So how's life? Many changes indeed. Alexi Lee Calda. IV-Pananagutan. School of the Holy Spirit of Quezon City. Basketball Club President. Basketball Varsity Team Captain. Jersey #4.Band Aid Committee Member. Yes, those are the things that are keeping me busy. Just last week, we got eliminated from WBL and hopefully, we would be able to get to play in Northball. Yes, hopefully, but I'm still bitter. Yeah, I am bitter :| Another thing, I am so so into RnB already. I have kinda changed my favorite genre. Yeah, Ne-Yo, Chris Brown, Mario, Frankie J, Atozzio, J Holiday, Avant, Jackie Boyz, Johnta Austin, The Dream, name my new loves.
There is still one thing that have not yet changed in me. I still love Paulo. No he is not a boyfriend or a lover. He is my favorite author. Just this morning, I was able to finish his latest book, "Brida", which is the tenth of his books that I have already read and yeah, I would give Brida a five-star rating. It dethroned my all time favorite "The Zahir".
"But how will I know who my Soulmate is?"
"By taking risks. By risking failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in your search for Love. As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end."
"By taking risks. By risking failure, disappointment, disillusion, but never ceasing in your search for Love. As long as you keep looking, you will triumph in the end."
"Brida" is about a twenty-one year old lady named, of course, Brida. She wanted to learn magic. The first scene in the story was the first meeting of Brida and the Magus, who eventually became her teacher. The story was about learning about the Tradition of the Sun and the Tradition of the Moon. It was about how to keep going on the bridge that connects the visible to the invisible. Soulmates were also mentioned in the book. It was said that we are all reincarnated. When people die, their souls do multiply. So that is how soulmates are created. Your soulmate could be someone who came from the same soul as with you. It is possible, having more than one soulmate. Love is a way of discovering your own true self an all the wonders of the world. You would be only able to do it by discovering who your soulmate is and getting to him. In the book, it was said that you would get to know who your soulmate is by seeing that light above his left shoulder and seeing a different light in his eyes. Only the witches and the "Teachers" are able to see it. Witches in Paulo Coelho's books are not like those evil witches that we know. They say that someone could be a martyr, a saint, a virgin or a witch. Those were ways of getting ing contact with God. Of course, those were only in the book. In real life, we do not know if the thought about soulmates is real, but I think that it such an interesting thing. I think that looking for my soulmate would be fun. I mean, it could be a big thing for me. It could be a reason. It could be something to think of whenever I find myself getting into my emo moments. Haha. So yeah, "Brida" won my heart. :>
"I am ready for love."
"I am ready for love, too."
aww. :)
